I agree, an immature bald eagle, pretty rare around here. I'm going to have to get one of those moniter calibraters, since all of your pics seem a little dark. Chris, I hope you don't mind that I fiddled with your photo in photoshop to try and lighten this one. What do you think? Dave

I don't mind at all. I was trying to play with the dodge tool in PS but couldn't find a result that I liked. I haven't had much experience with that kind of thing (burning and dodging etc in PS)so I will have to work on my technique!

Hi Kris. I absolutely adore bald eagles, they are magnificent birds. My mother's maiden name was Eagle so I guess that's where it comes from. You've caught this one in a most dramatic pose. I felt it a shame that it was lacking in detail so I had a go at tweaking it in PS. I used the maic wand to select the subject and then adjusted levels to bring out more detail of the bird. Hope you don't mind.
