About This is the biggest and maybe the oldest birch tree I have ever seen. It was photography in Vermont at the end of Autumn in 1984. I was fascinated by the majectic view of the roots, the life line of the tree.

Thanks Gord. I really liked the old guy. I was on a bycicle ride and the one hour hill I had to climb was worth the effort for such a find.
