I did not keep a digital file of the original image. When I have a chance I sill scan it and let you know so you can see it. What I did was to get the model wet and roll in the sand to add texture to his skin. I then made him lie on his back and stretch his whole body with the hand together above his head. I then used a wide angle lense and shot him from above. In photoshop, I painted the image and then applied filters until I got the desired result. Until you see it, I hope that gives you an idea of the digital manipulation. Thank you for your comment.
