About Shot in black and white on location at Crane's beach. I used the same model found in "Yoga Bird". Heavy PS work. Painted and changed persperticve to simulate a swimmer. The original in print is very dramatic and shows very distinct textures.

Thank you Marcus for your comment. I usually do not describe my process and let the viewer believe that they really are seen a swimmer.

I did not keep a digital file of the original image. When I have a chance I sill scan it and let you know so you can see it. What I did was to get the model wet and roll in the sand to add texture to his skin. I then made him lie on his back and stretch his whole body with the hand together above his head. I then used a wide angle lense and shot him from above. In photoshop, I painted the image and then applied filters until I got the desired result. Until you see it, I hope that gives you an idea of the digital manipulation. Thank you for your comment.

An incredible work!
Very impressive shot, Andree.
Expression is really like a swimmer. I'm curious to see the original one to understand how much work you have done to obtain this stunning effect.
