Hi alison.... as i'm travelling i have little time to comment on photos, but i do enjoy your shots.
you've captured something i wish i was doing right now (over 30C and hot sun here), a bit of winter photography. this is a scene i'm familiar with but i've never done any good winter shots. this is a nice simple, rustic shot, and i think you ought to try a few different filters in photoshop, just to see what comes out. maybe the watercolour filter, for example. or try B and W.
can i suggest you try to make a calendar of the seasons? a montage like that would make a nice photo.

The red of the little wagon is a really nice accent of color, especially against that great deep-blue sky! It would make a nice calendar page - not cheesy at all in my opinion!

I think "cheesy" might be a bit strong. How about "classically beautiful?" And yes, it would be a fine choice for a calendar. Or anywhere else, for that matter.

But a well done cheesy calendar shot. Nice DOF and sharpness throughout. Not much you could do about the walked on snow.
