About Dear Den

Wishing you a fabulous, fun-filled birthday! May you get everything on your wish-list!

From now on, you are allowed to do things at a snail's pace (specially today, after your night-out last night, celebrating!). As long as you keep your head up, back straight and look ahead - all good things will come your way ... albeit a bit slower!

(((HUGS)))
Linn

PS : Yes, I know the background slopes :-) Image taken late, late afternoon while sitting under a tree, sipping coffee :-)) Focussing wasn't easy - Robert held the twig the snail was on - and his hand was shaking ... and so was mine ... we all suffer from old age, I guess!

What an amazing macro. Great colors. The sloping background serves to solidify the snail's ascent. It pays to be different.

Hey Linn this is just wonderful, I thought I had already commented - so it is just as well I checked. DOn't kid me that either of you two 'young things' have hand shake, I can't get anything this good at the best of times. It is really excellent and Den is right when he says he has been overwhelmed by his Birthday he had the surprise of his life when his daugher and son in law turned up last night I don't think I've seen him so speechless and he has so many good wishes from usefilm friends as well as lots of present and cards her

Hey Linn, I think I am the only one that moves this slow. A great picture with very nice lighting. With both of your shaking you must have been synronized as this is very sharp. You work well together. Don.

Linn, you must be psychic!! I was just about to start typing this reply when an incoming message flashed up and it was you commenting to me.
Thank you soooo much for this dedication. What a terrific shot. The clarity is out of this world and I love how you've captured the transparency of it's body. Fabulous!! Thanks once again to you, and Robert, for the wishes. I am overwhelmed by the warmth I have received from Usefilm members and the friendship there is around the world.

Very nice Linn
I think that it is very sharp and well exposed.
Is it slanted of maybe the bush line is cutting across the image.
Great use of dof
