I cropped this down a bit. I find the white on the left distracting, but I don't know enough about photoshop to try to selectively tone it down...suggestions?
Yes, this is Cedar Falls...I couldn't remember the name of it when I posted this photo. The whole area is beautiful...an endless variety of subject matter.
Scott, you should try shooting this image in color slide film then convert it to BW in photoshop, it seems that you might have much more control over the image and you have it in color also. It is easy to bring out the shawdows but once you overexpose an area, you are pretty much done. This is Ceder Falls I take it, I have visited here numerous times. This is an excellent area to photograph, I shot my first magazine cover near here of some ice. Thanks for commenting on my OBX image also. Keep in touch, maybe we will meet up in the field if you shoot in Ohio.
