hi Samuel - thanks so much for your comments. I have to admit, though, that rising with the sun sounds more impressive than it really is this time of year, as the sun doesn't rise around here until around 8am!!! Actually, admitting that makes me sound rather lazy...ha, ha. But i also do think it was worth the effort - morning light has such a softness, a gentleness as you said, that is so different than the light at the end of the day. The quasi panoramic is good... but I personally would be tempted to crop out the quasi ranch style house on the right and the utility poles...
