This is a very nice image. The color hues complement perfectly and unify this image. The black values in the window above break the negative space, and the washed look keeps from having an open boring negative space. Then the figure sits solo, in this almost synthesized environment, very nice stuff.

No Problemo. Now that we're on REAl TIME here's the plan (just do this OK) Go on your shot, press edit image, and, put your e-mail address in the "about" for 10 minutes then go back and take it out. Then I will E -mail you.

Just relax please (my dearest Audra) I think her stomach looks gross, I mean GROSS. I like feminine Females and that certainly wasn't acieved. You try to make a 35 (was it?) yr old woman look 25 (or at least 30), not 45. There's still hope for us - never give up, Right?

I see I see..so a real friend has to ALWAYS agree with you...ok...well...I guess I lost ya. I'll be honest ..man I don't know JACK *%#^ about how to light a woman at ANY age...so I just went with how the photograph made me feel...

Back on the "hate Mark' tracks again (what is it with you?). I saw your comment on pp's car crash. Audra, you gotta be kidding. You NEVER light woman from the side after 20 something.....just when I wanted to talk to you about some ideas from yesterday. Man,are you Friend or Foe? And lighting isn't Technie. In the studio it's TOTALLY ESSENTIAL. Check out PIERRE THOMAS Karkau on UF - does pp type stuff but knows his s***. thanks FRIEND, mark

Oh yes...I did try cropping out the window...it became boring to look at...and although I don't normally aim to " center "...I kinda like him this way..

Dear Audra, now that I look at it somemore (a fresh day with more rain - which I love, so cozy) How about making it a horizontal shot , keeping the entire wall, but cropping the window out? It's a strong shot but , if you feel like it, try my 2 ideas and see if they work better for you.Did you get to the book? Whatever, his new shot - B/w - is nice.TTYS, Mark

It's kinda late so I'm sure you're asleep. I like the shot. Since you call it "Space" it does represent that. What do you think about this? Put a piece of paper right were the "S" in space begins and crop off all the wall on the left making it a vertical shot with him in the left hand corner. I like it better that way but that's just me. what do you think? Either way a strong shot. TTYS, Mark

You have created a very interesting atmosphere in this shot, the colors combined together perfectly. The pose of this old man also makes me curious. My only comment is that it is a bit too soft. Very good work my friend.
