Great DOF and very sharp. Can't beat those clouds, too.

Excellent picture. I like it very much. I agree with the other comentators that the mix of dynamic and static is very appealing. This is reinforced by the boat which although usually a lively moving object is in this case static and without life. Vrey good!

I did not relize that the other boat was in the scene until it was pointed out to me.(sloppy)
However let us learn by our mistakes

Kevin, it's very appealing and dynamic. I agree that the second boat might be better removed.

Are you somewhere in the South West? Can you remember the camera settings. Creative Zone ?? Thanks: Gordon : Torquay.

Cracking pic Kevin except for that boat on the left that you never noticed, unless it came in on the last tide.

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Brilliant capture of brilliant landscape. I like this shot very much, mainly because it's both, static and dynamic. Static boat and dynamic sky creates very strong mood of this picture. Composition works perfectly for me too. Regards, Robert.

Really wonderful! It's a pleasure to view your work. This is very dramatic with the boat and foreground sensational.
Cheers

Nice shot just that boat sticking out on the left is a little distracting but still very nice

Hi Kevin,''

Spectacular image. AWESOME SKY, love it.
I love all the foreground (forget that rule of thirds, rules are made to be broken) This one really benefits from all the foreground, the long lead of the rope seems to draw you right into it.

I like your image as you have it. (Too much saturation on the one someone else worked on.) Your sky is pleanty blue enough. And I think the extra saturation takes away from the silvery look.

This really is a fantastic photograph!!!
Lori :)

Hello Kevin
Good job. Very nice colors good contrast... But I think it would be better if you crop the lower part according to the law of 1/3rd's (~1/5 lower part) and the part of the boat on the left border.. I attach my suggestion, and excuse me for modification w/o your permission...

I like the composition, colours and textures Kevin, but think a softer treatment would be more effective. It looks slightly too sharp. Regards John
