i have a roll coming back this week, my first with hie. i shot it at 800 with a 25 filter based on the recommendations at dr5. david wood does most of my b&w and he's excellent, especially when i need chromes to turn into surfer. i'll post a few when i get them back later this week. if you wish to check him out, his website is dr5.com and i really cannot say enough good things about him.

Sean, I was using hie kodak
It was a while back that I took these and I think I rated it at iso 200, aperture @ f11 and a shutter speed of around 1/125 sec, I think that what it was
I have someother IR shots in my portfolio and will be adding some more in the future, soon as I get some more IR film.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

This has an IR feel about it. I like your choice of cmposition and works really well in black and white :)

playing around with infrared (color and b&w) quite a bit myself these days. which film were you using? hie or sfx? if it was hie, what did you rate it at? were you using a filter: 25, 29 or 87?

nice framing with the branches along the top. the branch coming in from the left side is a bit distracting. if you had moved to your left to have the sun at your back, what was the view like? i only ask because with a bit more sun the ir effect would have increased on the foliage.
