Chris, thanks so much for your comment on "At Last". I've looked at your portfolio and I feel honoured. You have a marvellous array of pics and I wish I had time to comment on them. Sooo I've selected this one which really grabs me. It has so much atmosphere and the tones are spot on. The low lighting brings out the sand ripples so well but the icing on the cake is the windswept clump of grass. Altogether a tremendous shot.

It was only about 40f degrees out on this day!!
Any unexposed feet would have been mighty cold!
I was out there for barely 5 minutes.

beautiful! i would give anything just to be right there this moment and stick my feet in the soft silky sand!! 
outstanding capture chris! the falling light and diagonal shadows emphasizes the texture of the sand and bushes!

try wraping your camera in Saran Wrap or something like it before hand it works great in the rain..maybe in sand too. i just leave the end of the lens exposed....
That aside this photo is SUPERB!
