Love the Golden Wonder title, I thought you called it this because it was "crisp" ;-)
I've already apologies to Den for bad jokes today so I had better get one in to you also lol
Seriously though, the composition is just great and the colours are wonderful.
Best wishes, Steve

Hi chris, nice job. I like your composition and having the boldness to put it off-centre. Really makes it for this image. I don't feel it needed the elaborate frame job, as i feel the scene can stand on its merits alone, but then you are the artist as they say. Nice work - my compliments Neil

I would say: nuclear weapon after use ;-) great shot Chris - excellent composition, wonderful capture of the Sun, colors and these birds - it really reminds me the world after nuclear disaster - the world of the day after tomorrow; I would give 7/7 take care Lukasz

Hi Chris! Thank for your kind words and caring! At the moment it feels really fine everything, and it feels like things will be solved.
But you know... when I see this beautiful photo from England I start wondering... maybe they shouldn't even come home... Maybe I should go there instead!!? ;-)
No seriously... this is a really beautiful capture! A fantastic mood, and with such original but also so tasteful composition!

I'm afraid I'll be the lone dissent. Although this image has great coloring, lighting and exposure it is not balanced compositionally. I love negative space, but my eye is glued to the sun and seldom if at all wanters through the rest of your image. The birds are a nice addition, but seeing a silhouette of a birds tail is hardly dramatic. I fear the loss of impact they provide would be recovered if you could see the resulting silhouette of their flight into the picture rather than out of it. A birds head versus their tail would be much preferred. All the interest of this image lies in the bottom left corner and too closely to the edges I might add. If the frame were replaced with image I think there would be adequate spacing to give this better balance.
