Hi Chris, I enjoyed reading your story. It adds a different, every day view to this image, even for the people who are not familiar with this type of road side views. Í think a stronger lighting would've made the atmosphere a tad stronger, but that's irrelevant to the situation you describe. Nice shot.
Cheers,
Hugo

Dear Carol, Thank you so much for your kind and generous comments. The short answer to your questions is that, whilst I don't go all out to sell my images, (time being my greatest limitation), I am always happy to agree a price on any given image, depending on what it will be used for. If there was a particular shot you were interested in for your own use, I could arrange to e-mail you the hi-res version so that you could have it printed and framed to your liking. The charge would not be high! It would just be a question of how to make the payment. If you would like to follow this up, drop me a line on: chrisspracklen@btopenworld.com and I'll be happy to sort something out. Best regards, Chris

I hope your connections assured you a good deal on the Volvo! This is a lovely image, particularly with all that foliage wreathing the houses. Like having a flower garden on your WALL! I know the D70 is good, but you make it look even better. The subtle range of greens is quite beautiful.

Hi Chris,
Another one of your wonderful cottages...LOVE IT! They are just so quaint, only from your photographs do I get to enjoy these!! The roofs must provide great insulation as well as being so picturesque (did I spell that right? )
Lovely and delightful scene.
Congrats to your son!! Lori :)

Hey Chris, we live approx 10 miles from Daventry and Margaret could see that storm (before I arrived home from work). Apparently there was a small tornado and lots of villages were powerless last night. Footage of the damage has been on TV tonight. Congratulations to your Son for completing an apprenticeship. There's not much of that nowadays, youngsters leave school knowing it all expecting to start at the top. Your loss has been our gain. We get to see another of your delightful West Country pics. These thatched roofs are lovely but I bet they're a job to mow! Den

Absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I needed tonight - you will never know how much this is cheering me up! Thank you Chris ... much appreciated!
Everything pops in this image. Just look at the lavender! It's leaning into the driveway, begging to be touched and smelled! Those climbing roses softens the texture of the wall; the thatch looks so neat and clean. I would give anything to spend some time amongst your cottages!
Thanks again Chris - I'm taking this to my fav folder so that whenever I need cheering up, I can look at it again.
