Thankyou Den. I actually stopped the car in the middle of the road to take that shot. There was nowhere on the side to pull up. So I really didn't have time to take more than one shot, so I focused on the sky. If I had've had more time I certainly would have gone for the double shot and joined them later. Glad you like it though.

I love indirect light - where you can see its effects but not the source. It's like indirect narratives in drama, where a character describes an event which the audience cannot see but which is happening at the time of the description. This is a wonderful photo, Judi - and the slightly desolate landscape under the spectacular sky adds to the atmosphere.

Thankyou Dave. That is actually the same cloud in the image stormfront, but different location and about an hour later. Both images were taken on opposite sides of town.
