Good composition. I think it would be enhanced with some hint of detail in the shadows. Lucky guy living near the coast. Noise Ninja might be able to clean up the noise.

Hi Mike; I love this kind of dark moody seascape, and shoot them often myself (as I'm sure you know by now). When I saw just the thumbnail I immediately thought that the foreground needed to be lightened, but on opening it changed my mind-- you did it right IMO. The dark heavy left side gradually gives way to the brighter right side-- like the dark side and bright side of humanity. Nice shot Mike.

Wow! I like how most of the picture's rather dark,and there's a sudden burst of color in the middle. Beautiful!

Hi other Craig...it was getting very dark, no tripodso I set the iso to 400...when I printed this image it looked great...

Well I am Craig, but probably not the Craig you were thinking of. I really like this shot except for the fact that there seems to be quite a bit of noise. What was your ISO setting?

Beautiful and moody! I'm not Craig, but I have to tell you, I love this! I love the way the colrs come in from the right and fade to black in the shadows. Simply awesome, my friend.
