About	A great human being and the father of all DJ's has died. An icon and a legend in his lifetime, his death is an immense loss, to his family, music and musicians and his listeners (in that order). This photo was taken by me while he was broadcasting live from the Vera club, during the annual Eurosonic Festival.

A true legend and a man who had a genuine passion and love for music. Peel opened up many doors for bands and gave so much to those who sought someting new and different. He will be sadly missed but he left behind a great legacy. RIP
