I love desert photos and would love to have the chance to take some one day. This one is very nice, the sand dunes make the photo very attractive, but still the interesting subject makes it unique. I agree the ultra would have been capturing the shadow as well, but I understand conditions were not easy.

The landscape look peaceful but I shot this image very far from the subject : close to my car with crazy guys driving behind me. In such case you have to use fast speed (maybe 1/1000 s I don't remember exactly and to finish the job asap. Then I accept the fact that the impact of the shadow may have been better.

Very nice composition, the tones of the desert and the shadows with the cow in the right bottom side of the shot are great. Just a little thing is the shadow of the cow I think it needed to be in the shot. Anyway, good capture Houbekeur, regards.
