This is an incredible mooded picture. The huge buildings at the background, all hightech and so on, and the somehow more plain and traditional sailship at the front. It's a great composition. The add of sepia tones completes that. Overall an excellent picture wich deserves a higher rating.

Thanks for the recent comment,
Greets, Tim.

Kurt,
I appreciate your observation. When I shot this image in color, due to haze, I was not able to get the feeling of nostalgia or "old and new" from the image hense I converted the image in sepia to bring out the contrast in the elements of tall city architecture and old ship coming to the port.

Appreciate your comment and thank you for looking into my portfolio.

Very good arrangement of the graphical elements in this image and the sepia toning allows us to focus on the contrast between old and new rather than be distracted by colors. Kurt

Love this photo. Great tones. The old ship contrasts with the tall solid concrete biuldings works well.

A nice shot, and a nice juxtaposition (I think that's the word I'm after) of the old and the new. Well done.
