Great Shot Jim. 1/250th. ? Any Idea what shutter speed was? Whaterver it was it is pefect for the wing tips. I'd give ya a 7 but the composition is just a bit off. Human nature to center the subject when you quick draw like that. Not much time to think... Would have liked to seen some room in the frame for the mallard to fly into......6

A nice clear image with very good colors!
I think a tighter crop would make this photo more dramatic.
