Brian, thanks for commenting on "Drip Drop". I used no lighting. The entire image was mouse drawn with and without vectors, airbrushed, smudged and manouvered. The only effect I gave it was on the bottom surface with a ripple effect that was distortioned to suit with a layer mask to blend.

Very creative Judi. I like the bold 3-D, almost abstract design of the littler water droplets. Just curious as to what "lighting effects" you used on the drops. By the way, this is Kurt's son, Brian, if you hadn't guessed. I'll be posting more of my work later on. Nice to meet you!

He's in his second year now, and is learning to do some cool things with PS. Not sure how long he intends to pursue it, but at least long enough to receive an associate degree (2yrs). But as he's only going part time this year, it will take him a little longer. BTW I got him to model for me and he's in my portfolio. (No. 1 Son)
I'll have him post a comment for you when he's able.
Well, I'm off to work now (still have to pay the bills and buy film) and I may not have time to post or upload to UF till Monday. Take care and have a great weekend! I'll be looking for something new from the outback.

Although not exactly photography, it's still a very clever design. I'm sending a link of this image to my son, who is studying graphic design in college, to show him what an inventive mind can come up with. Maybe someday he'll be posting on this site as well. Keep up the good work.

You've done that all manually right, with PSP!! you simulated a water drop :) nice simulation and creative in deed, but why is it too dark like this?! i am sure it would use more lighting :) regards dear,

does appear to be in 3d. i had looked away for a second and out the corner of my eye was wondering what that thing was. it looked like a box with some big round thing in it.
