The two women were cleaning up rubble from a house renovation. The building on our left is covered in thatched 'protective' screens to reduce the amount of rubble falling into the streets. Both ladies spent hours carting the rubble away on the trolley. Then carting building materials back to the job. Back breaking work!

It's not easy to capture what's "characteristic", even though it's everywhere around you, but you've done it well here! The bike, the cart and the laundry sign are what make the shot.
