There's a cop in there somewhere...there's a sense that something is about to happen in the shot too.

That is pretty funny.

You know I love anything rural, I think I know that road, that house you can almost see at the end has women drivers. Del.

Rebecca, the perspective is excellent..and sign added an interest point and tension to the composition. The cloudy sky completes the scene.
Very well seen, good eyecatching.. and perfectly done picture. Great choice of B&W, also. Cheers! Carmem

I wouldn't want to hit one of those bales, they're pretty solid! I suspect Neal's comment is close to the truth. Very good composition, though, Rebecca, I like the perspective of the road and bales coming together in the distance. Dave.

So just what is a 'slow', and how does one drive one? :) Makes me think of those signs that warn you of 'Slow Children Playing' ;) Maybe the farmers have a tendency to come bounding out from between the bales? Fun capture!

Great photo. At first I thought the horizon was off, but judging from the clouds I would say it is right on. Nice detail in the foreground. Congrats.

I suspect the reason has to do with funding cuts in education. I think they meant, "Please drive slowly." This is a beautiful, somber, moody picture appropriate to the sad state of educational accomplishments.

Good clouds and a nice feeling of emptyness. You might want to straighten the horizon though, unless it's deliberate.

Nice composition and idea! Great sign.. hehe.. Perhaps their cat is running back and forth on that road? hehe! Great tones and light asswell. Love how the road turns or goes down out of view.. That gives that sign a new meaning... it could be a hole in the road.. etc. One starts to think about what can happend behind the field of view.
Cheers
