Jennifer, I just e-mailed Patrick Jacobson a quick tutorial I threw together on straightening images. Shoot me an e-mail (it's on my bio) and I will send it to you.

thanks, Jeff. Tim has a PS addition for fixing scewed horizons so i'll have to get him to put it on my computer as well. Sometimes i like it when things are off-kilter (as you said, too), but when it's done by choice, not like here (& the beach scene) where it was unintentional & therefore, reads as a mistake! Woo, hoo - another technical-thingy to get my head around. :O)

This is what i call depth... nice work! Love the composition and the tones are just great.

Jennifer,
Great image, excellent tones and composition. The toning is the right choice for a bland, foggy sky. Reminds me of the type lanscapes I shot years ago. One nit-pick, the photo is skewed slightly CCW. Other than that, this can hang on my wall.

this one sucks ...... NOT.... the blown out fog in the background is beautiful much better then the color version.

It has the feel that you were lying down inthe field to take this, like the way the rows draws the eye to the horizon
