Excellent portrait, very well composed and very powerful. I particularly like the tones and the dof. To say it's a self portrait it makes me apreaciate it even more. Very well thought out, with a great result.

I've been away for a few days so this was a nice treat to come home to! :O) Life's been so busy here - packing & moving & unpacking & then getting my roommate settled in after me & friends visiting & then off-island to see family...whew! And all i really want to do is be here & settled & run around taking photos & have time to do creative work. I feel that coming, though, which feels great. hi Phil - ya, i love the effect toning can give to a photo &, hey, no chemicals! One of the members emailed me instructions as to how to create toned photos in PS & so now i'm having fun. :O) It does remind me of cyanotypes as well.

Looks like youre near to burst out in laughter.. or perhaps trying to hold that look for the camera? :) Strong intense eyes.. love those.. Your pose is interesting as your bones/skin forms shapes and shades. Very nice tones and the color youve used works well.
