A flower with an extravagant look
Never seen it before but it surely is gorgeous and you captured it beautifully.
I love the pink/white combination of colors and
the DOF is very good.
Yes, the light explains the noice but it's no big deal. It's a superb shot, Lynn!

Nice to see another Currie pic ~ I've been having withdrawal symptoms. e.g. phantom fur balls in my mouth, nightmares of being smothered to death with pieces of black velvet fabric, etc. Not nice!

Mmmmnhh cotton candy, lovely 'pink' image. So strange you are putting in summer seeds, and I am madly taking shots of my remaining summer flowers, and thinking of what winter bulbs I put in last year and what can I put in this year, that will turn out to be good to photograph.. We only moved in together in this house 18 months ago, and it was all lawn, so I am quite pleased with the little bit we have achieved.

Gorgeous flower, I've never seen anything like this, sure makes a wonderful photograph. And of course it's just the right color!
Yes, last light of the day/longer exposure does/can bring the noise! But this isn't bad at all, really, looks great to me.
I've been off site for 3 or 4 days except for a small amount of time. Now it's difficult catching up once again.
Funny to hear about 'spring' when I can hardly wait for summer to be OVER! Everybody just 'seems' so close!
I wish I could see all your precious kitties! They are sooo adorable, I wouldn't be able to put them down! :)

Hi Linn,Weird and Wonderful!I have never seen this flower before.Lovely DOF,I am a real fan of soft backgrounds for flower images,makes the flower jump out,great stuff.
Yes I can relate to not enough time for everything at the moment.Our spring has arrived this week,it has been calm warm and just beautiful with all the spring flowers popping out,but OH SO MUCH gardening to do now.
We do not get spring rain but in October the equinox winds arrive,warm and damaging to the new spring growth,a jolly curse for gardeners and flower photographers alike.
Have a good day and dont work too hard.
