John, you are not going to believe this ... I went out today looking to shoot blue! :-)) Got a couple and every now and then my eye (and camera) strayed to the pinks, but I did get a couple of blues, lilacs and purples.
Now to choose which one? :-))))))))

The rose is beautiful, the shoot is excellent, the color,light and layout are very nice.

Amazing the way the petals cuerl around the centre.The colours are splendid and indeed they remind of soft eyes and strawberry milkshake.

The rose does have yellow deep inside - but I suppose there could be a bit of over-exposure.

This is beautiful shot. Nice micro and spiral effects. Just a little over exposure inside the left petal and I would like to see it without border.
