Digital advice. Hmm. I don't consider myself an expert BUT.
I could say that you should get skills in photoshop or an equivilent program - but you know that already :)
The advice from my experience is just that you have to research what system you are getting yourself into. Be sceptical about what you read - especially in forums. Above all, don't get too obsessed if possible.

Great use of a fixed lens. Great shot. How do you decide which camera your going to use? I noticed most of your macros are Pentax, and your wides seem to be Nikon. Im going to treat myself to a digital soon, but im a bit uncertain on what type. But when I look through your portfolio, I definately like the quality of your shots. Im using a Canon EOS 35mm right now, but ive started dabling in design and comp, and film is not always neccessary, any advice on digital bla,bla,bla. Thanks, Dustin.

Yes, maybe it?s the beginning of a cultural widespread loss of innocence. We have two alternatives for facing it: accept it as a fact and try to learn adaptability, or believe in ourselves as a member of society and try to oppose it by all the possible means we have.
By the way I don?t want to use your photography page as a philosophy forum : ) Thank you for your comments. Seems that you have a lot of amazing photos in your page. I will see them all on the coming days.

I agree with your sentiment - she is too young to have the model pose. I guess I see her pose as a bit of a feature to this photo. Many girls are trying to be adult before they hit 10! Can be seen as a negative thing. This girl has always known how to hold herself - she is amazing like that - even when not trying. The beginning of a cultural widespread loss of innocence?

I think they way your model stands is a defect to your photo. With one hand in her pocket she looks like a movie star rather than a child. It would damage the simplicity of photo. Any way, nice colors and lighting.
