About Shot taken with the D70's incredible automatic sunset facility! This camera really is amazing!! Can't wait to download the new software that's rumoured to soon be released, giving the ability to instantly delete any stray people or animals that may have wandered unnoticed into your picture!! Awesome!!

This watering hole is literally just around the corner from my house ~ with 3 minutes walk!! It's one of three very acceptable eateries within a 5 minute radius of my domicile!!

What a great place to live! And don't I know it!!

Have a splendid weekend everyone!

Best regards, Chris

Perfectly composed, Chris! And such beautiful houses! The light and colour in the sky gives that extra feeling of beautiful originality!

Chris, I'm waiting until they release the software that says "Press Now!" when a good picture opportunity arises. I don't know how much the D70's "sunset" software contributed to this but my guess is you yourself had a lot to do with how good it looks!

Chris, you should have been a salesman (Oh I forgot you are one) The D70 is good but I think you are better with the sunset sky. Beautiful mood and picture. Don.

Thanks for the excellent, fun-filled comment, Den!!
I love it when people come back at me. My wife thinks I'm the only one on Usefilm with a sense of humour ~ not that she calls it that!!! ;-)
Kind regards, Chris

Mine's a pint of bitter Chris. Your D70 really is a limited edition. What with 32918 built in frames and auto sunset facility it must have been a prototype. Ain't got 'em on mine . They do a fantastic job though but give you an easy life so you'll be getting bored. I think you should sell that camera to Margaret.

Whats this eatery stuff Chris? Don;t they sell my favourite tipple, Worthington green any more? oh you do make me homesick. as for the D 70 whatever you do don;t drop it, it"s magic.

This certainly is a dramatic shot Chris, but to tell the truth I don't know if you're just "pulling our leg" or not re the sunset??? But whichever, this is very nicely done.

Thanks for you kind comments on my "Moon Rise" photo. The amazing thing w/ that pic is that I only took one shot;>) Cheers. Craig

I take your point, Merete, about removing things we don't like. Often I load up a picture that's only had basic adjustments made to it and nothing taken away?

But what I'm trying hard to become is a 'photoartist' ~ someone who takes a photo and then turns it into something an artist might have painted. And an artist would never paint TV aeriels, or lines in the road! He wouldn't paint dustbins or litter in the streets. And he wouldn't put people in his picture if he didn't want them there. Are you with me?

I'm not trying to deny reality, or even stop enjoying all that's real ~ I just want my pictures to be free of clutter and unnecessary distractions so that the real beauty of the landscape, flower or house can be better appreciated.

I hope this makes sense!! I still have much to learn, but I like to think that my work is improving and bringing a little pleaure to a few people out there in internet land!!

Enjoy your weekend. Make the most of every minute!

Best regards,

Chris

Yes...beautifull place indeed.. :-)
I wonder..if all the technics we are using is the right thing... why are we so keen on removing what we don't like to see..??? Isn't it abit sad..that we don't enjoy what's real?? Hm.. :-/
I'm tired tonight..and emotional 'far out'!!! :-)

Cheers to you..and enjoyyyyyyyyyyy..what you see..and what you're dreaming of seeing.. ;-)
