your close-ups are just breathtaking. i am usually not that attracted to macro images but yours are quickly changing my opinion.

Actually, I shot it during the day, but there was a fair amount of shade. Shot it using the E-10's macro lens extension. Took it home, played with the contrast a bit, then converted it over to B&W. I then took an eyedropper to one of the leaves in the original color image and created a toning layer over the B&W image in that color. All part of me trying to understand how to create "sepia" and similar duotone images. :)

I have no idea why the stem on the right plant seems to vanish mid-way up. I was experimenting with a more complicated way of sharpening the image and may have inadvertently eaten it.

This is a cool experiment. I love that turquoise color you achieved. It looks like you shot it an night, but still managed to capture rich color.
