hi karen, thanks for pointing out the streaks. I hadn't noticed them but now that i have, i find them distracting, too. I'll have to see how i can get rid of them in PS. The photo was pretty much shot as is - very little work in PS - & without any special effects. I just set my camera on macro, metered off something quite dark (my legs i think), & then shot pretty much directly into the sun & this is what i get. I do that kind of shooting a lot, as i am really drawn to blown-out, out-of-focus shots, that are more about feeling & form than subject...or something like that. Thanks for your feedback. :O)

Ah, I've had daydreams like these. Was this taken through a window? I like the bits of "glitter" not too crazy about the red and green streaks. Peaceful~

Your strong compositional elements in this photo really make for a powerful yet soft photo. A combination of seemingly opposite possibilities. Your idea works very well. I hope to see more of this series.
