Another excellent shot. The shoes or whatever it is,tenis, penis, anything, are too flashy. But the feet, at right, coming up,looks very interesting,as far as my imagination can climb up.

Dear Angelo,

I also don't think that you should crop the third pair. a bit more blur would help (PS?).

Stay tubed umhhh tuned for your next candids ;-)

Dear Thilo,

Thanks for your insight and detailed comment. I really appreciate it!

I'll need a wider lens... (BTW another *VERY*BIG* annoyance I have with almost all digi compacts, which seem to concentrate on extending the tele end of the zoom range --- you know, "my zoom is bigger than yours" --- rather than the much more useful wide angle end)

The crop is tight because I wanted to include the three people. I don't think it works with two. And I was sitting right across the narrow corridor of the train, so I'm happy I actually managed to fit the whole thing in, just about.

That's the thing with these Tube candids: one seldom gets a chance to recompose and reshoot. What you see is what you get... if you're lucky and quick on the trigger!

Glad you like the concept, there's more coming :)

Dear Angelo,

nice variatíon of the underground-theme.

great idea to crop the image that way. well chosen angle.

I have to small concerns. the area on the left seems to be a tad bold, at least for me. the shoe here is getting consumed by the dark background.

Second, I think that the pair in the middle is a bit too heavy centered. therefore, the pair on the right is getting a bit out of focus - this is enforced by the fact that they are more far away from the viewer. a bit less depth of field would help. (we already talked about the compact camera phenomenon)

Like the concept and the title a lot.

cheers,

Thilo

Danny,

I do read the newspaper, and aven attempt the crossword puzzle! (I don't do very well.)

But I'm a weirdo and I can't resist some scenes...
