Hi Chris, I nearly missed this one. Scanning thru the thumbnails I thought it a shot of power station cooling towers, the clouds being the steam rising to the atmosphere. You've sure added drama to a place that for 98% of the year is quiet. Den

Chris, I am really impressed; the sky is lovely and these stones make this place magic; I would try to make this picture more panoramic but cropping the grass a little bit;

I love your choice of sky for this one, Chris, although again, when I look at how the light falls on the stones, it's pretty obviously a composite. The result is a really beautiful image. I don't usually comment on composites, so this is a measure of how much it impresses me.

Hi Chris, Did you use a polarizer filter (or any other kind for that matter) to create those deep tones or is it Photoshop Induced? Very dramatic shot, would fit perfectly as a postcard, with the whiffs of cloud and the eyelevel perspective. Very good shot!
Cheers,
Hugo

You know me, Margaret ~ I have a direct line! :>) Only joking!! The truth is, I take these skies when I see them as I always have my _ _ _ (one letter, two numbers!!) with me whn I'm out and about. Then it's just a question of trying to fit the light to the image!! Youll usually know when a picture is a composite. My conscience won't let me deceive you wonderful U.F. folk, so I always put a composite image down as 'photoart' ~ though that's not to say all my 'photoart' images are composites!!! :>) Kind regards, Chris
