Belle prise dans laquelle on voit tres bien toute l'attention du regard que l'homme porte à sa voisine de table....J'aime beaucoup la qualité des niveaux de gris et l'angle de prise... Très joli. Fabrice

Thank you Audrey ! I'm still in Paris for a few days. You may be right about the man's dark face. I've checked back at the colour original and it doesn't look that dark. I don't have my entire software paraphernalia here, but I could rework the B&W rendering when I get back home.

This is a nice 'steal' shot Christian. The couple look easy in each others company and the image is pin sharp, the tones are rich as if from a wet print. If I had to nit pick, I'd say the man's face is slightly on the dark side but that maybe because the lady is so fair and in light clothing...and that would be me at my pickest. Nice one Christian, I like this a lot.

Thank you Hugo. They were just the table beside and the shot was taken with the camera resting on the table. The original holds a bit more on the left that I decided to crop out : a closed parasol leaning out of the frame and a blown out portion of the sky. These shots are always a compromise.

Hi Christian, Very introvert scene, unposed, and completely natrual. That's what I like about this shot. The placement of the people nearer to the left edge does close the composition, but I think a tad more room on the left (and a little less on the right, thus panning the shot a bit) would've focused the view more on the intimacy of the comverstation and the moment. Well exposed shot, and a very good atmosphere shot.
