Beautifully captured evening light, Chris... my latitude is so far south of you (abut that of North Africa) that dusk falls very quickly and I almost never get the opportunity for such a shot. The sky behind the cottage goes very well with it, as do the dark clouds above it.

really nice evening capture! your are totally right
about the "you can almost smell the peace" ..looks very quiet!
one thing as a critiq..maybe shoting from a little far could eb better so we can see more of the endless background and sky
