About The evening before Carole came home?

Just me and my D70 in the tranquility of Muchelney?

Sun slowly sinking beyond the ancient thatch?

A lone cow bellowing for her calf?

And everything else is still.

Mmmmm!

You can almost smell the peace.

Beautifully captured evening light, Chris... my latitude is so far south of you (abut that of North Africa) that dusk falls very quickly and I almost never get the opportunity for such a shot. The sky behind the cottage goes very well with it, as do the dark clouds above it.

Hi Chris; this really is an outstanding photo. I like everything about it-- the building, the foreground, and the sky is really dramatic. Lighting is sombre and moody-- my kind of photo-- going into favorites. Really nice work. Cheers. Craig
