Wow. Thanks for the trouble you have gone to with this picture Hugo. Certainly gives me plenty to think on. I have to say the black frame was intentional to create a psychological sense of darkness and entrapment, but your suggested crop is an interesting interpretation that I shall certainly play with. Thanks again for your insightful and thoughtful opinion, feedback like yours is worth it's weight in gold.

Hi James, Excellent use of light, colours. The dynamism and tension created by this figure's pose creates a very strong, but sorrowful atmosphere. Especially in respect to the black framing. I had to play around with this for a while, and see if a closer crop would work. The result undoubtedly has a different effect and atmosphere, but removing the black framing is something I think fits your suggestion of the dawn that always breaks... The way I interpret that is a feeling of happiness the horrible, sleepless night is over, but also with a feeling of extreme tiredness... This may not necessarily be what you have in mind, but I wonder what you think...
The shot itself is exclelent. The motion blur makes it... Outstanding shot.
