About I saw this as I was headed for work today. Jumped out and took a few shots from the bridge. I would have loved to have had time to go down on the tracks and take a few, but... oh well.. nice shadows anyway.

Another great shot. Very clear and sharp. You placed the train and tracks perfectly in this picture. I take pics on the way to and from work whenever I can. Thanks for your comments on my pics. Best wishes.

What a masterpiece. Wonderful patterns. The subject matter is almost irrelevant with this exqusite abstract arrangement. I hope you were'nt late for work, but if you were, it was worth it.

Yeah, no doubt Jimmy. I have a couple shots from the other side of the street too going as far as I can see through another underpass.. no engine lol The engineless coal train. :)

You gotta shoot'em when you can. Here you saw an opportunity and took it. And, look what a great shot you got. I like the car shadows and how the tracks and train bend out of sight in the distance. The only thing that would be better is to have the engine in the scene.

Wonderful composition. No one ever said you HAVE to spend time on a set-up. Sometimes it's just there. It's up to us to see and capture the moment for those who can't. Congrats.

This is going to favourites Rebecca. I just can't get over how fantastic this photo is. You really have an eye and a talent for capturing the purity in things. There is even a wonderful sheen on the leaves on the left in the foreground. The shadows of the cars are perfect. So many textures and the perspective is what really keeps me looking at this.

That was my point, you just jumped out, snapped a few and look what you captured. EXCELLENCE. I sit and squat on tracks for 1/2 hour and come up with zilch.

I jumped out Christine, in uniform, ran back about half a block.. I was sure one man yelled
" No... don't jump! It's not worth it!" lol

Wow, fantastic perspective Rebecca. Amazing clarity and tones. Just look at the glint on the coal. Superb!! I took about 10 photos of train tracks and they all look like crap :-)I am not kidding. I will keep trying and someday my straight B/W shots may meet your standard of excellence....and she just jumped out and took a few shots from the bridge, *%#@*grrr.
