About This is my first image I have posted on UseFilm.

This is an image of three flight deck (Avaition Boatswain Mate Equipment Specialists) are tired after been up for over 18 hours working straight. What is shown here is a break(like a 10 min. one)break is in between a series of planes recovering. They'll be getting off work in like 2 hours.

Terrorism attacked USA 9/11/01 that happen a week after to taking this shot. Taken from the other side of the flight deck on board USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65) early in the morning from the other side of the flight deck.

I used an orange filter as well.

Hope you enjoy it all comments are welcome I'm open to all opinions.

You can just see the exhaustion-esp. with the expression on the guy's face in the middle-in the eyes. I too like the fact that you included the plane. There is also a lot of great detail in the hands of the guy on the left-you can tell that he has been working hard-by the way he has placed his hands-it looks as if he barely has any energy left at all. You've even managed to obtain great texture on the ground they are sitting on. Wonderful shot, sorry if I rambled on too much. :)

Dave, another great shot, I like it before the cloning.
The orginal gives a sense of their work enviorment.

Another great image Dave. Something everyone should see...how much work these people put into keeping the US free...and this was before 9/11.

megan

I think the planes in the background are an essential element. The image shows three guys trying to block out their work during a short break. The taller guy doesn't seem to be blocking it out as well as the others, maybe he should get the top of his head behind the cover!

Hi Zandra-
Thanks for making a WS on my shot I like it better in some ways I probably should have done what you did and clone stamped out the plane in left corner I think that would have probably the most effective, keep on posting. Have a great 2 weeks.

Funny Dave, as you were writing your comment on my pic, i was looking at yours in photo shop...I have seen this before, so i sad to myself...this time, try and find something you did not see before, or come up with a new idea...I did see new things. I was looking more at the structure of things. Also, since i love tight crops and high contrast, i did a litle WS for you. Mainly to achive what i just mentioned but also to remove the sky which is a bit washed out. Hoep you don't mind.

Welcome to usefilm. The tones and contrast are great here. Very powerful image of our modern day heros.
