Its not bery often that I speak any negative words Paul and I'm not going to start that now. I do want to make a minor comment about this shot however. It is a very good shot and I love everything about it except for the shadow at the top. Maybe it just needs to be cropped off. Other than that the colors and the framing and the idea are all great. Well done on the subtle diagonal lines in the table contrasting with the diagonal lines of the crayons contrasted with the round line of the cup holder and the square lines of the box. It all adds up to be a very interesting picture and I really like it minus the top shadow...

Yes, Lori, and while I'm snapping away, I completely ignore my sons who mumble, "you have issues."
Later, when they say, "oh that's a cool shot!" I remind them the best shots are seen by people with issues. :)

You managed to creat a neat image from such a simple scene, always on the 'look out'

Pam part of the clarity is due to my 21mm wide-angle lens. It gives me both a wide view as well as greater depth of field.
I'm shooting w/ a 4 megapixel Kodak, and I'm really happy with the clarity and definition I get from it.

Beautiful color... Is the raw , what gets you all the sharpness you have here... I so crave that kind of clarity... You have a nice portfolio..
