Hi Ken,
thanks for all your kind comments.
I made the change because I wanted to step up to digital SLR and I found this Nikon D100 on offer at a price I couldn't refuse. It's quite similar to the Fuji S2 pro I understand.
Kind regards, Chris

Chris, Why have you changed to Nikkon from Fuji. The next version of Fuji s7000, the one I have is realy good.

Nice shot Chris,
Sorry to hear about your camera.
I had my canon 300D since januari and it has been more at canon repair than in my hands.
At the moment still no camera.Ordered canon lens 50mm 1.8 on 09april and still no lens available.I wonder ..........Is it me?
Good Luck!
regards Guido

Beautiful nature scene! Wonderful clouds and so beautiful stones! The people give a funny mood, because it looks like if they are running so fast!

Hi Chris..
magnificent viewing and a perspective that increase it want to go up until clouds and to the blue of the sky and from lì watching in bottom. optimal colors and saturation that increase the beauty of the place and the panorama.
I embrace

cheers
roby

Hi Chris, A badly misfunctioning D100? What's wrong with it?

Very good shot, and a beautiful landscape. I've only seen Land's end from the see, and I've never know what it acturally looked like, so thanks for showing! I like the looks of it, and of this photo too. I think I would've cropped a bit off the right side of the image, in order to make it less centered. Other than that, I think the photo is well balanced, and I like the upward perspective in this shot. Great shot, Chris!

Cheers,

Hugo

You make the third person who has had trouble with a Nikon, hard to believe isn't it? Sorry to hear it.

Interesting photograph, I hope that bag she is carrying isn't too heavy, looks steep!

Very nice color and clarity in this image, Chris!!
Once again, nice work!!

Lori ;)

I'm afraid that's one of mine, Keith.
I had no sky to work with as the camera was recording virtually nothing in the right half of the histogram!!
Once I'd adjusted the levels in PS to get any kind of picture, I was left with a 'nothing' sky, so I dropped one in that I thought suited the image.
Good spot!
Kind regards, Chris

Hi Chris, very nice, I usually try to avoid shooting images of people from that angle. They are not always appreciative ;-)

Nice composition though, is that a Spracklen Sky or natural ?

Well Chris, it still did a pretty damn good job, or is it just the Guy behind the camera :)
