Hi Sara..
The concept and the composition is great here, however I think this photo lost some important details (unless you want it to be like this):
1. Did you come close to the subject, more than what your lens permit? cuz you will see the distance written on your lens.
2. Try the macro mood with manual focus I think it gives more control and better results.

I know you are new to this cam and I did face such problem at the start, the above are only tips my dear friend.
