Uhu! Three month ultimatum, huh? ROFL! Do you want me to stop? And btw... no flattery involved. I NEVER comment on images that do not have an impact on me. So there! :)
I find it interesting they call it "karma" here. Yeah, I kinda get the gist of how it works. I'm in a couple of other sites as well. Began with webshots last September. Today I received news from themn that another of my (12 albums there) has been featured! It is still going strong... lots of great feedback! The first featured album was last November for "Art from the Heart Weddings". This one is "Creative Portraits/Modelling". I have over 400 images in webshots, a lot of which are here. When my scanner is "well", there will be different images in different sites. In fact, that is happening already. If you want to take a peek, here is my webshots addy: http://community.webshots.com/user/goldenrose10
Yeah, yeah... I know I could have used my own name, but it never occured to me it is so unique! LOL! Far more unique than GoldenRose! :)
Dave, you are a delight. You are a friendly lovely person and thanks for the opportunity for great sharing.
Se ya in the soup! Aniko :)

Thank you, Aniko. I am flattered by all the praise from you. I'll give you three months to stop it.
I see your Karma is rising, Ms. Newcomer. In case you have not noticed, you get Karma points for participation. commenting on someone's photo gets you 3 points. If your comment goes over 200 letters, it earns you 18 karma points. You also get points for uploads but don't get any for commenting on your own photo as when you acknowledge another's comment.
Just thought I'd mention this since a lot of newbies don't fully understand that system. Took me a while to figure out too. Then again, I'm not one for reading FAQs, either.
Best wishes and thanks again. Dave

Home sweet home!
Great picture Dave. There were lots of old abandoned(?) houses like this near where I grew up. I always wondered who had lived in them and where they all disappeared to.

Oh... yes I have! I saw many of these around the state of Colorado. One of my wishes has been to travel the country and take photos of all the old abandoned house I can find. This is an excellent shot. Regards, ..Jimmy

Hi Dave, I like the narrow crop of the old decaying barn. Very well captured. The strong colours are excellent, and I like the title; the stories to be told; I think this photo can speak for itself. The see-through though the open window on the left is an excellent detail.
I think the framing is a bit heavy. It destracts from the photo itself, also reducing the size. Other than that, a very good shot, my compliments!
Cheers,
Hugo
