PS: This belongs to the Austro-Hungarian Empire's history. Unfortunately, Timisoara was given to Romania in 1919, but I hope that we still keep some of the Austrian spirit and that this beautiful town remained european.

Good shot, and a very good use of the DOF to single out the subject of the streetlight. I think the colour version might have put more attention to the light itself, and although I do like the monochromatic tones, I feel it "flattens" the image a bit. I wonder what the original colour version looks like...

Another option would be to selectively use colour in the streetlight, and leave the fore and background monochromatic.

Good shot, and a perfect angle.
