I originally submitted this as a Tricolored Heron, but it is actually a Little Blue Heron. Only excuse I can offer is aging brain cells.

Bob- this is my favorite on your page. You asked about my bird photo...the truth is, I do not know. I shot 'Critter' while on business in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Tracy aviary; they had most of the other birds labeled, but not his one. I know it is a predator of some sort, b/c it had been chewing on a carcass beneath its claws!
