About It is winter and the colors are not there so I decided to do black and white. I converted the image to black and white in PhotoShop using the channel mixer adjustment layer. Even though I used color slide I shot this with black and white in mind.

wow! great contrast, shawn. i really like the perspective with the rock & puddle in front. i'm having a hard time deciding whther i like this one or No. 1 better. No. 1 seems to flow better but is not as interesting overall. great shot!

This is great, but I think a minor crop would make this perfect. The highlights in the background distract from the great motion blur and clarity of your foreground. My eye as is follows the water all the way to the back and locks on the highlighted trees. Less that my eye sticks to the center of your image with the whitewater. My eye then runs back and forth between the running water and the pool in the foreground. Very strong image. great tones and clarity. This is very very nice! Nice PS work to convert this to B&W.
