About Inspirated by movie of Mr. ?ulík \"Krajinka\" I have begun to observe pictures of the world arround me in millenniums break. Still lives, where as though was time stopped. This photoes is done by different technic, which is consolidated by its theme. And so, I do not know how, this serie came into being...Scan from bw print (fomabrom)shoted by Nikon F50, from tripod, 35 mm lens Nikkor, + polarise filter on Ilford Fplus 50 ISO negative. Post worked in PC (tones added). In 2000 I was happy to make shots with my lector and friend Marek Liksztet from Poland. We observed this place closed to High Tatras, just on board of Poprad city. He began to call this place \"mexico\" .... a lot of pictures and adventures we spent in ... mexico.

Look like the day after when Helios -the god of sun- let Phaethon -Helios' offspring- drive his sun chariot.

Young man had driven the chariot across the sky to prove that he was the son of a god, when his friends told him that he was a liar. However, he could not control those powerful horses pulling "the sun". Consequently, the chariot burned the earth, destructed the living. Eventually, Zeus put an end by striking Phaethon with a thunderbolt sending him to death.

Hi Peter.
Viewing this with a friend who describes this as "pretty gnarly".
She would like to see it in colour.

the corn feels dry and desolate the sky seems threatening and not necessarily promising - the strange cross - symbolic - good stuff...

a very dramatic scene. but i would say the over exposed cloud at the upper left corner is a bit distracting. may be u can try to burn it.
