About On my beach walk the morning after a strong storm, I came across this coconut and I just liked the colors with the sand.

Hi petra,
about getting details of settings afterward. I have a great program (downloadable, free) with image browser & some editing functions & also gives you the settings when you open the photo.
Its called Graphic Converter. I use it on Mac but I think there's a PC version too. Of course if you already have photoshop, ignore this! H:)

The thumbnail doesn't do this one justice. It's a nice image, although I wonder, too, what fillflash would have done to the detail of the interior.

Regarding getting the details from a digital camera, if you're using PS7, there is a utility in it that allows you to look at the image data that you would normally view through the display on your camera. I found out about it by viewing the PS7 tutorials on the Adobe site. It was a very interesting "movie".

Thanks for your comment. Frankly, very often I don't remember the specifics. I'll pay more attention to them in the future. This picture was one of over 500 I took on our recent vacation to the Bahamas. Do you know how I can know the settings in retrospect on a digital camera?

The grainy-ness of this photograph is marvelous and the lighting is so good. I wonder why you do not post the settings and such when you put a photo on here... just a question to ask.Crisp clean lines here... good capture.
