I like the strong blacks and whites in this photo. What is unusual is that there is still room for some middle of the road grays, just to show that they are there.

I don't know what it is, whether it's scan lines or the paper itself, but it's quite visible over the sky. It's a fine composition; good exposure everywhere except for the sandy area which could be burned in.

Stunning image, perfect application of the rule of thirds, the halo around the branches is beautiful and suggestive, the B/W tones are splendid, like an IR shot, only the wall in the left corner is a bit distracting and the grey scale in the sky is not perfect, there is a line just over the top of the tree. In any case a wonderful photo! Bye Max
