This gator was at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas (believe it or not!). They have a huge shark reef there and a lot of exotic animals like this gator.

Great shot Marie. Where did you find the White Gator? I have only seen them in New Orleans and Cincinnati.

Hi again, Marie,
To answer your question about photo editing software - a good bet for you might be Paint Shop Pro version 8. You can find it nowadays with a $20 rebate. It retails for $100, but I've seen it at a few big retailers for $80, i.e., $60 after rebate. From what I've seen, it has most of the features of Photoshop, but it has a much gentler learning curve :-)
Best regards, SteveR

Superb capture, Marie. Excellent colors and lighting. The glance of this gator is not very inviting :)

Crikey!
Good on yo, Marie! What a beautiful creature! (Can you tell I'm a fan of the Crocodile Hunter?)
Seriously, Marie, it's a really excellent photo - I very much like the way you caught the gator sliding into the water so as to get a great diagonal composition and wonderful reflection.
My only nitpicky suggestion - there are a few white spots in the water behind the gator's head that you can try to clone out. I find them slightly distracting - it would make this photo even better with them gone.
Excellent! SteveR
