Great landscape Jill!! Unlukely with 28 mm lens pink flamingos are so small and without details.
few meter more close helped you to get higher definition into the scene. Still I like it so much for its cloudy formations on the creater...stormy weather was arriving...giving to the image a dramatic feeling...

Hi Hill. Very nice shot. I like the so heavy sky. Great emotions from this and .....wow..... flamingo in a place with so bad wheather?!?!?! I never seen this before. A very good shot that diserve easily the 5X7!

the lighting creates a nice mood here,but the choice of a wideangle lens without supporting it with foreground interest is wrong,in my opinion. Instead of being small pink dots in the distance,the flamingos should play a stronger role in the composition.You probably couldn't go closer,so I think you should have tried a telephoto angle to the scene. my regards,Kostas
