Heya - thanks for following my (impending) Pinetree 6 series - I had to comment on this one because this is EXACTLY what I was looking at this morning (except there were more cars) and I never would have thought to take this picture. You, however, did, and made it work wonderfully. I had my camera in the car and everything, too... just goes to show how one photographer will see something where another will not. Queen of Surrey, right?

Ahhhhh! this takes me back! The B.C. Ferry! Guess this is not the "Fast Cat". The only thing missing is an Orca swimming in the water. You should have waited :>) Very nice shot.
You commented on my prairie barn picture and I wrote a comment after you. If you want barns and old structures, there are some out in the Cloverdale and Abbotsford area.

Awesome shot, Becky. Great lighting and even exposure. The composition is great, but if you did have the chance to shoot that again, I might like to see what it would look like with a little more of the texture of the ceiling. Maybe just pan up 1/10th the height of the frame. The kids in the shot are great too. They definitely add to it all. And the view out the windows... gorgeous. ~Adam

Another well seen image. The lines are wonderful, leading right down to the boys with warm light inside, and the cold blues of ocean outside. The only thing that I would change would be to eliminate the red doodad on the right side on the frame.... a little shuffle would have gotten rid of it.

The only thing I think could be better is the bottom left, there's a little bit of negative space, but I don't know what you could have done with it. Maybe shot from a little lower and aimed a little higher to catch more of the ceiling and less of the floor, but then maybe you wouldn't have gotten as good of a shot of the mountains in the background. But I think it's a great/beautiful shot none-the-less!
